FBC Preschool Holiday Party
Lily's preschool class had their holiday party today complete with a special musical performance. Oh how I LOVE watching 3-year-olds perform...they never fail to entertain! :)
All the students made a special Christmas tree shirt to wear at the party. The tree was made for each child's handprints...one day we'll look back and think, "I can't believe she was ever that small!"

A Typical Sunday Evening
This is how we spend an average Sunday evening...
...playing in the cave (who knew a couch and chair pushed together could be SO much fun?!?!)

In other news...
Everyone in my house - except me - has had the pleasure of taking antibiotics this fall. Ear infection, strep, sinus infection, and bronchitis have already paid a visit. Now with the recent frigid temps, everyone is coughing again...and, I suspect, Lily may have her 3rd sinus infection of the year. I am trying with all my might to avoid new rounds of antibiotics...humidifiers, chest rub, extra zinc, vitamin C, ginko, antioxidant tea, and OTC cough medicine are currently part of our daily routine. If anyone has suggestions for additional homeopathic remedies that might help our little ones, please send me your comments. Come hell or high water, we are NOT going to be sick at Disney!!! :)

Courage
My amazing husband has started a blog. Very honestly - and with a little humor thrown in for good measure - he is going to chronicle some very personal feelings and experiences as he works to overcome challenges in his life. Please take the time to check it out and, if you feel a connection to his story, become a follower.

Walls Holiday Card
I didn't have time to do a Christmas card this year but, thankfully, our dear Auntie Jenn made one for us. The girls have already watched it a dozen times.

Winter Weekend at the Beach
My Asian sister, otherwise known as Auntie Jenn, invited for a fun beach weekend. Our condo was amazing and we had so much fun hanging out together!
Joey sliced part of his thumb off while cutting veggies on the first night...he says he now knows what Aron Ralston felt like...because knicking your thumb while slicing veggies in a fancy condo is the same as getting stuck in a remote canyon with your arm pinned by a huge boulder and then having to cut your own hand off to escape!
There was no indoor pool, but the girls sure loved the jacuzzi tub...Finn did NOT!!!
Chowing on breakfast...I feel like I feed this child constantly! His first word to me each morning is, "More!" as in, "Get me MORE food!"
The view from our window.
Snuggling with Daddy
We REALLY wanted to go on this slide, but it was closed for the season.
On the way down to the beach
Finn quickly found the sand and then couldn't decide if he was mad, wet and cold or happy digging in the sand.

Trimming the Tree
As is our tradition, we put up our holiday decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving. The kids are more excited each year and we always have a lot of fun...our only challenge is keeping Finn from tearing down the tree! :)
Turkey Day 2010
As usual, we spend Turkey Day with the Bolton family. It is my favorite day of the year because it is the one day of the year where my entire family is all together in one place (except for Mark and Wendy...miss you!). Each year is better than the last as the newest generation of cousins grows closer and closer...I love seeing them play together and enjoy each other the way we used to...and still do! :)
Lily, Sam, Cassidy
All dolled up for T-Day...Cassidy was NOT in the mood for pictures.

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast
Cassidy's class had a special feast the Tuesday before T-Day. Joey joined her for the luncheon and some special father/daughter time.
