Cassidy and Lily are VERY particular about their hair and have never let me do more than brush it and pull the sides back with a clip or hair tie. I am by no means a hair professional - I'm doing good if mine is somewhat tamed - but I have longed for the occasional pigtail or braid on their beautiful, little heads. Friday they finally decided it was time to expand their hairstyle repertoire and this morning I finally got my first crack at some new 'dos!
Cassidy's first style choice...a bun! I think she was imagining Tinkerbell when she made the request.

Couldn't leave Finny out! BTW, I took him to the doctor that morning for a rash that - of course - turned out to be nothing...perhaps I should have just flushed my $25 down the toilet. Anyway, at 17 months the man-child weighs a whopping 30 pounds, 13 ounces...only a pound or two shy of his almost 4 year old sister!

She looked absolutely precious!
And she was SO proud to finally be able to wear a big girl ribbon in her hair! Can't wait for all the styles to come!!!

They both look so cute in pony tails and "up do's" in general! Maybe you can get to do it more often now.
