Summer Hair

The kids all got haircuts today in anticipation of the summer heat.



Finn wanted to be shaved bald like Daddy, but I couldn't bear the thought of losing ALL of his beautiful hair.



This was our compromise. Mrs. Brenda used the clippers, but kept it long enough so it would lay down. Compared to how much hair he had it feels like he's bald, so he's happy!



Cassidy actually wanted to be bald too - she's sick of her thick, curly, hot hair! She also requested a "boy haircut," but I have hair like hers and my mom kept it short when I was little. I told her one day she'd thank me for not letting her have an afro! :)

She finally agreed that chin-length was short enough and it turned out really cute!

Lily, of course, had to be like big sis! No more Izzy-tails (ie. Jake and the Neverland Pirates' Izzy pigtails) for awhile, but it's adorable and will be very easy to maintain this swim season! 

Finn insisted in being in pics with everyone...the little ham!

I can't imagine where he gets it from! :)
