We're Playin' Baaaassssketbaaaalllll!

That line wails from the speakers at First Baptist Church every Saturday as the Upward teams prepare to play. Cassidy and Lily wanted to try some new sports this year and we've had a lot of fun meeting new friends and learning the basics of a new sport!

Lily, a natural athlete, picked up on the game right away. She often scored the majority of her team's points. However, we are most proud that she learned to SHARE THE BALL over the course of the season! :)

Buggy's team only had 5 players so Lily got to play every game the entire game...a perfect situation for this little bundle of energy!

A little timid on offense at times, Cassidy could always be counted on to guard her man! Those players rarely got to touch the ball because she always had them so well covered. :)

We are already looking forward to next year when we'll have 3 Upward players...Finn says he wants to play, too! Next up? Soccer, which starts in April...and then it'll be SWIM SEASON!!! We can't wait! Finn regularly asks me how many days until swim team! :)
