Happy 7th Birthday, Cassidy Grace!

I can't believe another year has come and gone since this beautiful, little creature drifted into our lives. (Actually, she came screaming into our lives after 28 hours of labor, but it sounds much nicer the other way!) She has rocked our world in a million wonderful ways and challenged us to grow more than we could have ever imagined. In this past year I have had more meaningful "grown-up" conversations with her and in those moments have caught a glimpse of what our adult relationship will be. It's going to be good.

We celebrated Cassidy's 7th birthday quietly this weekend with family. Next weekend we will celebrate with a couple of school friends at the new Buffalo Road Aquatic Center. It has a 3-story waterslide, water vortex, lazy river, and zero entry play area with slides and sprays. I'm as excited as the kids! :)
