Swim Team Finale

Our swim season started a little rocky this year. The pool was having some problems and we weren't able to practice for a couple of weeks. Things weren't looking too good for our team and for a brief moment we weren't even sure if we would have a team, but our awesome swim team board rallied and figured out how to make it all work out. We had another great season as Marlins and in the end we learned that the wins and the losses, the medals and the ribbons all pale in comparison to what is truly most important, what truly makes the Turner Farms Marlins so special...the hearts of our families. We are so fortunate to be part of such a wonderful program...our swim team family!

Finn got 5th in butterfly at championships this year. He shaved about 30 seconds off each of his race times over the course of the season!

Lily got 1st in both her relays, 1st in freestyle, 3rd in butterfly, and 5th in the individual medley. She also got MVP for her age group!

Cassidy got 5th in breaststroke at championships, shaving 2 more seconds off her best time. She also improved her freestyle and backstroke times by a couple seconds each at the championship meet and swam her best relay legs of the season!
